Letter From The Herbalist

Maureen Rogers

Everyone is so concerned with Obama's health care plan, but few bring up a healthy lifestyle as being important.  And our diet....few can say it's good.  Maybe it's because I've been losing weight (I was bad) but it seems like everyone needs to stop eating so much.  And I don't care what socio-economic level we're at.  Few are eating healthy.  And it could be taking David Winston's course, but the diet of most of the people we have in case studies is awful.
Even among my close friends when I hear them complaining that they need to lose weight, I suggest following the plan I'm on, they stare in horror because they don't want to give up this or that food; their family has to be fed; they're too stressed out, etc.
I didn't want to continue high blood pressure medicine.  My doctor said "lose weight".  I am.  And I wasn't obese to start.  I don't wear plus sizes.  But I weighed too much for good health.  Now this is why I "hate" men....they lose faster weight than women.   My partner really was "large"....about 200 lbs too much but the motivation to lose has to come from within.  So we both started on the diet at the same time....I lose steadily about 2.5-3 pounds per week.  I feel good.  But him....he's lost 110 pounds in the same period.  :-(     So if you'd like to try the diet we're on, it's Medifast, www.tsfl.com  And my consultant can be reached at lynette@createmyhealthyweight.com.  I don't get anything for referrals, but it's a good place to start.  And it's easy....and I'm not hungry...ever!   Not bad.

Till next month
